Am I Eligible for an International Disability Card?
There are over 1,000 visible and invisible disabilities, each with unique characteristics. For this reason, we do not differentiate between various disabilities or medical conditions. Whether it’s a motor, visual, or cognitive disability, anyone who feels the need for a Disability Card is welcome to apply. Our goal is to provide the card as a communication tool for anyone who wishes to use it. In doing so, we aim to make communication about disabilities more accessible, offering peace of mind to the cardholder and fostering greater understanding in challenging situations.
Do I Need to Provide Proof of My Disability?
The Disability Card is a support tool, so it is not necessary to submit any proof, diagnosis, or documentation of your disability. However, in case of doubt, we may request a statement from a doctor. Since the card is solely intended as an aid and does not grant rights or privileges, it is available to anyone with a visible or invisible disability.
